Gondwana Necklace

This necklace celebrates one of my favorite women warriors: Rani Durgavat. Sixteenth century ruling Queen of Gondwana, she courageously led her army into battle against the invading Mughal empire. Black spinel symbolizes empowerment, diamonds her unbreakable spirit and 22K gold the flowering of her courage.
